Data dictionary

Every coin ships three daily files. All three share window_start, and the book and trades files add elapsed_ms, so they join without timestamp arithmetic. See them for real in the free sample.

Conventions

  • All times are UTC. Files cover one UTC day, 00:00 to 23:59:59.
  • Prices are in dollars per share, between 0 and 1. A share pays $1 if its outcome wins.
  • A window belongs to the day it opens.
  • Rows are sorted by window_start, then elapsed_ms, then exch_ts_ms.
  • elapsed_ms is measured from the exchange timestamp, so it runs from 0 to just under 300,000.
  • The book file holds one row each time the top two levels change on either outcome. The Up and Down books mirror each other, so both are included for convenience.
